Below is a short overview of the beliefs of our church.  For a more comprehensive and annotated version of our beliefs, please read our Declaration of Faith

  • We believe in one true and living God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the sixty-six Old and New Testament books constitute the inspired, inerrant Word of God which contains all that is necessary for the salvation and obedience of humanity.
  • We believe that human beings are born with a fallen nature and are inclined to evil continually.
  • We believe that apart from divine grace we are incapable of doing good works pleasing and acceptable to God.
  • We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
  • We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ made effective by his sacrifice on the cross is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
  • We believe that believers are to pursue sanctification subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
  • We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
