Below is a short overview of the beliefs of our church. For a more comprehensive and annotated version of our beliefs, please read our Declaration of Faith:
We believe in one true and living God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the sixty-six Old and New Testament books constitute the inspired, inerrant Word of God which contains all that is necessary for the salvation and obedience of humanity.
We believe that human beings are born with a fallen nature and are inclined to evil continually.
We believe that apart from divine grace we are incapable of doing good works pleasing and acceptable to God.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ made effective by his sacrifice on the cross is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to pursue sanctification subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
